What does a “Tandem” really do at all?

The motto of our Introductory Session (Tandem Breakfast) is What does a “Tandem” really do at all? In the first part of this introductory session we offer the opportunity to get to know each other and to find Tandem partners. While having a small breakfast you’ll get the chance to get to know your Tandem partner(s) a bit closer and to get into exchange on opportunities and your expectations. The second part will be focusing on the learning process within a Tandem. Therefore, the Tandem teams will get small tasks which will provide the basis for getting into exchange, discussion and reflection with the other teams and Tandem learners. Furthermore, we give the opportunity for consultation and assistance in methodology and didactics of foreign language teaching and give tips to teach and learn languages. Under the motto "Is it possible to have fun while learning?!” the third and last part of our introductory Tandem session will deal with games and playful ways to teach and learn languages. Therefore, we will introduce material and you’ll get the chance to give them a try. If you have any (language) games or ideas, just bring them! :)
