Day trip to Erfurt on the 10th of December 2016 with visit of the Christmas market

Dear PhD students and postdocs,

We cordially invite you to our next day trip. This time we will visit the capital city of Thuringia, Erfurt. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Germany. The day trip will inlcude a sightseeing tour with a personal guide for our group in English language. Furthermore we will have lunch together and visit the Christmas market.

The program at a glance:

- Joint travel to Erfurt and back by train
- Guided seightseeing tour through the historic parts of Erfurt
- Lunch
- Visit of the Christmas market of Erfurt next to the famous cathedral of Erfurt

Date: Saturday December, 10 2016
Meeting Point: Halle (Saale) Hauptbahnhof at 9.00am sharp
Return: at 5.00 pm in Erfurt- arriving in Halle at 6.30 pm

IMPORTANT: Please only register if you really want to participate. If you registered and then have to decline, please cancel your registration at the latest until November 9, 2016 by sending an e-mail to phd.network@international.uni-halle.de, so that someone else can get your place. Please note that this trip will only take place if we reach the number of at least 20 participants. If you bail out at short-notice, this will compromise the realization of the excursion. Two weeks before the day trip, all participants will get a reminder.
